.X. Sara Hoshi .X.
Her bright eyes wandered around in the evenings darkness, getting a good view from the height she was reaching on the swing. Although infront of her was clear, behind her was different. She couldn't look back every two seconds unless she wanted to draw attention, and attention wasn't what she wanted. Especially in this place. Without knowing of the shifters, or hunters sanctuaries, she had no idea just how dangerous this place was, but the looks one gets while wandering the streets aimlessly in the nights aren't nice ones. Without having met up with a hunter or two on occasion, she wouldn't of believed there were any here at all. However, after getting shot at and chased until it was convenient for her to fight back, she believed it was just as dangerous as anywhere else.
Shrugging off the need to look behind her after casting back a quick glance in that direction she let her eyes wander over the fountain. Out of all the places she'd been, this had to be the most beautiful. Especially at night. With the fountain illuminated by soft lights under the water, it gave such a peaceful feeling. Sara slowed to a stop on the swing, slipping off of it with a light groan, rubbing at he hips a moment. After sitting on a swing for a few hours, you're bound to feel atleast a bit sore. After the small pain faded she walked towards the fountain, jumping easily up on a table top that was in her way to land gently on the other side. She soon found herself sitting on the edge of the fountain, sighing quietly to herself as she enjoyed the sight and sound of it, the small spray of water that hit her every now and again, cooling her off in the hot summer night."Bleh, don't loose your thoughts in this," She quietly muttered to herself. "Just because it's late doesn't mean hunters aren't out." With that she let her eyes wander over the area, seeing nothing but a rabbit in the park. Rabbit... She thought quickly, feeling her stomach growl and the wolf inside her plead to be let out. No, you can't! Not here! We'll go home and make something to eat. However unhappy the beast was within her, it listened, forcing her eyes off the rabbit. "Lucky thing."

He slowly started to gain consciousness from his fall, aching everywhere, his head throbbed in pain from where he hit the rock, his body felt weak and stiff from being laying down for so long. How long has it been? He asked himself, like he would know how long he was out cold for anyways... His eyes opened slowly, blinking multiple times as his eyes adjusted to the mornings light. He lay there for awhile completely still, just observing what he could without excess movement. The ground was no longer wet, he could hear some birds nearby, and the sun was out. Must of been out all night... damn... better not stick around any longer. He got up off of the ground, looking around as he moved to lean against a near by tree. He rested against the tree for some time, regaining lost strength and recovering from his major headache, at least enough to be able to fly somewhere. He took to his animal form, taking flight towards what sounded like running water.
He landed high in a tree near the source of the water, a fountain in some park, over looking the area for any source of danger. Unfortunately he didnt know what danger looked like at this point other then any living human, which there was alot of at this particular part of the day better just wait and see what happens around here before i get my drink. He decided, continuing to scan the area from his perch, despite how thirsty he was.

.X. Sara Hoshi .X.
She watched the rabbit hop away into the bushes, not being able to look away from it for very long. It was an easy catch, she knew every part of this park, it couldn't run. And with the way rabbits worked, she could just walk beside it in her human form switch to her wolf and tear it to shreds. Unless it was another shifter... Then it would be smart enough to run away from her human form as well. But would another shifter be stupid enough to hang around a park? Especially as a rabbit? Trying to sooth her growling stomach, and the wolf inside her with thoughts of going home, and making dinner, she sighed, dipping her head under the fountain shortly after. Dinner? Hell, the sun was coming up already. No wonder she was so hungry, spending the night at the park. The girl tensed as she pulled her head out from the water, hearing the beating of wings not too far off. Not a normal human would of heard it, but she wasn't normal. What was normal anymore? She'd definitely heard a bird of somesort. Not that a bird worried her, it was morning after all. Just whatever might of scared the bird to have it fly here. Her bright eyes shifted about, desperately searching for the source of the sound. Nothing... She thought after not being able to see or smell anything, nothing besides that rabbit. Not noticing at the time she was upwind from the bird she'd heard, clearly not being able to scent it. Hunger made her careless as well, scanning right over the hawk, not noticing it. The girl groaned and held her stomach as it growled more, shaking her head swiftly.

His gaze swept over the near by area, only spotting two things of interest, a girl by the fountain, and a rabbit not to far off. He kept his eyes on the rabbit, thinking it would make a nice meal if he was to go for it, but it was already hopping away to the bushes. Probably because the girl he had seen, scared it away, and he wasnt ready to draw attention to himself by going after it either.
After watching it disappear he turned his attention back to the girl, who was already looking around for something. He tensed as her vision swept over him, keeping his gaze on her as he waited for her to do something. she, however, didnt seem to notice him, or didnt pay any mind to a bird in a tree. Close one... Of course why did he have to worry? It was a park, surely seeing a hawk is just an everyday thing, and she didnt seem to pose a threat to him from where she was. Now he just needed to some water, hoping that what he was about to do was just another thing at the park.
His legs bent as he prepared to push off from the branch, looking up as he pushed off and spread his wings, taking flight. His destination this time was a tree just on the other side of the fountain, a short distance from his current location. He swooped down and landed on a lower branch, just about eye level with the top of the fountain. Hopefully this goes as planned...He took off from his perch toward the fountain, gliding close to the ground as he approached it. He landed on the fountains edge, keeping his eye on the girl as he leaned cautiously forward to get some water.

.X. Sara Hoshi .X. The thought of the rabbit lounging in the bushes pissed her off. Here she was, sketching out about everything, and there the rabbit was, probably munching away on grass or leaves. Munching away... With that thought, she couldn't let the rabbit go. It was teasing her, knowing exactly where it was and what it was doing. Or probably. She pushed from the fountain smoothly and quietly, taking a few steps toward the area of the rabbit. She somehow remained oblivious to the hawk still as it took flight to another, closer tree while she looked around, her form shifting quickly and gracefully into that of a raven coloured wolf. Her head turned quickly with a gasp as she saw the hawk land on the fountains edge from the corner of her eyes, pausing dead in her tracks. Careles! She scholded herself ignoring the bird, because it was just a bird, before she slunk across the open space toward the rabbit.
OOC: Sorry it's short. Had to cut some out just to add this. Looks like I'll be posting whenever I can get on the computer.

He started to drink with his beak partway submereged, suddenly seeing the girl being replaced by a wolf, he jerked his head up blinking in suprise. Another shifter? The thought raced through his mind, he hadnt seen another shifter for awhile.... not since the day he lost his friend. Not being able to believe what he saw, he put his head under water for a second or two. She cant be a shifter, im just imagining things. He pulled his head from the water, shaking it so most of the water would come off, looking back to where the girl was. There was no denying it now, she was definatly a shifter.
He watched the wolf as it moved toward where the rabbit was, more thoughts moving into his mind about this shifter. He was curious to find out if she was friendly or not, hoping she would be but unsure if he should try and find out just yet. I dont have much to lose...He moved closer to the wolf, walking along the edge of the fountain toward it. She however, was moving away from him to the rabbit so he took to the skies. He flew over the top of her, skiming the bushes on his way by, landing on the other side of them. Turning to face them he waited for her to get her kill, if the rabbit was still there after his fly by.

.X. Sara Hoshi .X. Usually she would of hunted in the night, but the morning was unforgiving and her midnight pelt did nothing besides make her more seen. One of her auds slid back to catch the sounds of the hawk, surprised as she saw the shadow, and heard it fly overhead.Stupid bird, it's going to scare the- As if on cue the rabbit darted out of the bush, and something besides the sun must of been shining down on her, because it blindly came crashing into her front paws. A bit shocked, but still staved, instinct claimed the wolf, jaws parted to take in it's neck, ending it's poor little fuzzy life instantly.
Now for the hawk... With a quick scan of the area she found it, and a wolfish grin came along her lips as it seemed to watch her with more interest then any living animal should. she dropped the rabbit between her paws and licked over her maw."So, just gonna act like you noticed nothing? That you're an ordinary hawk? I promise I won't bite. You after all did help with the kill, I'm willing to share. I'll just go home and make something to fill the rest of my tummy. Unless you care to fight. In that case I won't have to go home."Sara wasn't being mean, it was true. She'd share the rabbit, and not eat the hawk. Unless of course it started something. In that case she'd end it's life quickly like the meat between her paws. Whoever he was, he stuck around. Meaning he was in it to find a friend, to find his head missing by stealing -- Trying to steal. -- Her kill, or just for sheer enjoyment. To her, the friend was nice. But another shifter? Or was she really just talking to a bird-brained hawk...? Hell, if it was bird-brained she was talking to herself."Names Sara. Welcome to Midnight Pass."Now she really hoped she wasn't talking to herself...

He heard the rabbit flea from the bushes, then abruptly stopping as it hit something. The only thing he could think of the rabbit running into was the wolf, who probably already eaten most, if not all of it. He kept his eyes looking toward where the wolf was, hoping he got her attention with his fly by, moments later she appeared with the rabbit in her jaws.
He sized up the wolf, she seemed alot bigger and intimidating up close and the blood on her maw didn't help him in trying to stay calm, he had only seen her from the sky before... everything is small when your in the sky. His head tilted to the side, listening to her speak intently, gazing to the rabbit after she was finished. "No I'm no ordinary hawk your right, and if i was i dont think i would stuck around after seeing a girl turn into a wolf. You seem really hungry right now, so no thanks, you can have it all, besides i didnt kill it you did."
He let out a quiet sigh to the fact that she hadnt full out attacked him right away, his intentions were to make friends with shifters, not become their next meal... "Nice to see another shifter around Sara, I'm Nick... Midnight Pass?... a shifter place?" He had no clue where he was, if he had found a shifter city then he might be able to find a place to stay. He didnt let his hopes get to high, nothing ever turned out perfect... especially with his luck.

.X. Sara Hoshi .X. She sat back on her haunches as she listened to the hawk, becoming not a threat all together as she flopped to her side. Besides a yawn that showed her canine fangs, she acted pleasant and friendly, her tail even swaying amusedly. The wolf pouted as he refused to share, shifting to nudge it to him with her nose before flopping back down in the sun."I don't care who killed it. You helped. And if you don't eat any, then it can sit there for the crows."She blinked, shushing him instantly when he said 'shifter.' As if he didn't get it, he said it again, triggering her to pin his beak to the ground easily with a paw. She didn't hold him hard enough to hurt him, just to keep quiet."You have a human form... Take to it and follow me. You're coming to my place, you can ask questions there. Until then, avoid the subject."She began walking away after looking around, the raven wolf shifting gracefully into the girl he'd seen earlier.

He watched the wolf calmly as she lay down in the sun, relaxing fully to the fact that she wasnt going to eat him next. A small laugh came from his beak as she moved it closer to him, he gave in, sighing softly. "Alright fine, I will have some of the rabbit, wouldnt want it to go to the crows. You should take some of it too, after all you killed it." The hawk moved closer to the prey, leaning in to rip some of the meat from the kill. The fresh kill tasted good to him, having not eaten for awhile, he leaned in again to take a little more, the rest was left for the wolf.
His eyes widened as the wolfs paw came at him, trying to jump out of the way before it hit him. He, however, was to slow and it came down on his beak. He kept quiet under her paw, eyes still wide as they looked to her. Slowly calming down after she released his beak and started to move. He followed after her, switching to his human form after she did, catching up to walk next to the girl. "Alright..." He said quietly, thinking over why he couldnt say 'shifter' around here. Even if Midnight Pass is not what i thought it was going to be... at least i found someone who isnt trying to kill me.
