Role playing does not come naturally to all people. Here is a nice little guide to help you get started.
When role playing, you speak in third person. An example:
--> The girl yawned, stretching out along the bed as she woke.
Important: Do not use Would. You don't sound very smart saying it. I'll explain why.
Her eyes would open, looking around.
Note, that you aren't actually DOING it. You are saying that you WOULD do it. You state no reason why you AREN'T doing it, you just state that you would be if something imaginary didn't come up.
There is NO use of action marks in this kind of role play. Instead, you use " when you speak, and nothing else. EX: She laughed quietly, looking to the kitten that sat in front of her as it played with a ball of yawn. "Ohh, you are so cute!"
Grammar is important. Use punctuation, and proper capitalization. Spelling as well. There is a spell check. Use it. Though, I know if I'm on my phone or something, then spell check doesn't work. Still, please try and spell correctly.
If I'm missing anything, please PM me and I'll credit you in this. Also: If you have a guide you'd like to add, run it by my. I'll most likely let you post it.
