The vixen let her green hues scan the land around them as she did her circles around the man, her paws working non stop to keep swimming. With no fear of drowning like most canines had since they had to keep swimming, she went until she was tired, which wasn't long after she had dived under. Surfacing with her fur plastered to her skin and a much darker colour, she lifted herself out of the water a bit do shake off her head, in result, splashing the man while he was on his back. With perked ears he listened to his explination and thought it over, giving a 'humm' as she thought. "But there are other birds without webbed feet who can swim I'm sure. It's not like you need them to swim, just look at me!" She replied with a playful yip, once more doing circles around him. The fox blinked and tilted her head as he made his fish comment, laughing and blowing some bubbls under the water in reply. After a bit longer her legs became tired, a bright flash of light accompanying her change from fox, back to human. Like him, she moved to her back to float, feeling a bit weighed down in her clothes, but not really minding since she was still floating. She kicked her feet a bit and floated off away from him, pleased by the warm sun kissing her flesh. Staring up at the trees she was soon blinded by the sun, letting her eyes close as the instead watched the shadows pass by her eyelids. As she soaked up the sun the girl began to think, a slight frown crossing her lips. "So... Where do you plan on staying if you just wound up here? Unless you have friends here... Then I'm not sure why your spending the at with me." She teased him a bit with her last words asshe spoke playfully, her frown replaced with a sort of smile. A sound off to the side had her opening her eyes to look, watching as a small sparrow was fiddling with the mans belongings. "Hmm. Might want to go save your things, looks like the bird found something it likes." She half chuckled out, a hand moving from in the water to brush her hair out of her face since it was wet and annoying. Once done she returned to resting comfortably on her back, simply floating around the perfect water, feeling a few fish come up and nibble at her legs which made her laugh quietly and move often.

He moved a hand up to block his face as the fox shook her head, but he was to slow as the water had already splashed his face, huffing playfully to the girl. He shrugged some as she continued to swim around him, laughing softly to her as he watched her swim circles. "But you have a more things to kick with, and less of a gap between toes." He teased playfully, averting his gaze as a light consumed her, only looking back once she was done. The man splashed her as she started to swim away, grinning as he noticed the wet clothes. "See, its not to comfortable now is it? Its like it wants to cling forever!" He stuck his tongue out to her and closed his eyes once more, enjoying the day and listening to her words. Memories came back to him of his old friends and the village he had fled, most were good memories of them doing things, but some were of the last time he saw them. He let himself sink just to try and stop them, making no move to surface quite yet, still sinking. The memories slowly faded as his body begged for air, only then did he kick hard and resurface, gasping for air. The man took a moment to recover, shaking his head to her. "I dont have any friends here, just stumbled across it. And if that was the case, obviously you are better company." He smiled and looked over to his things as she spoke, starting to swim over and holler at the bird, splashing water at it as well to try and scare it away. It only left when he got out of the water, shaking his head at he looked to his stuff, sitting on the grass next to the rock it was on. "Damn forager bird..." He looked back up to where she was swimiming, his gaze lingering for a moment before casting a glance toward some trees. "So... Do you have any friends here then?" His gaze was still sideways as he asked, watching the scenery as he moved to lay back, looking up at the tree tops now. Arms moving up and then bending to place his hands under his head, resting in the warmth of the sun.

"Hmm... I suppose you're right, but I thought feathers floated?" She ignored his splash towards her and lay happily in the water, startled slightly by his big splash. The femme shrugged as he questioned, or teased, her, letting out a slight chuckle./color] "It isn't so bad, but I'd take to my fox form when I got out. Dries faster running around. And unlike you, I can't take off bits and pieces..." She replied with a laugh, listening to him to only hear silence for a while. His sudden splash and gasp made her jump and stand up in the water, looking to him with wide eyes until she calmed down enough to lay back in the water. "Ah, I see. Thought maybe you'd know someone." She casually paddled on her back, simply enjoying the day. "Friends, not so much. Aquantiances, yes. There isn't really anyone around I'd like to be friends with. So, what do you plan on doing tonight then, if you don't know anyone?" She watched as the man moved to get the bird to leave has stuff alone, closing her eyes again as the sun blinded her. After a while the girl moved to stand, making her way out of the water to sit with him and dry off on shore.

"Perhaps... I just cant swim in my bird form, even if others could, its something I lack." He shrugged some as and laughed to her next statement, his tone playful. "Well you could... but some might frown upon that." He laughed softly before he plunged, not noticing her wide eyes once he had resurfaced. As he lay on his back he heard her paddle around and some birds chirping in the distance, her voice however took command of his attention, shrugging some to her question. The thought had crossed his mind before, but he was more or less just ignoring it for the time being until he found a suitable solution. For now he figured he would just stay outside in the forest if needed. "Im not sure, I will probably just be in the forest or something..." He paused and looked to her, no longer hearing splashing, shaking his head with a laugh to her soaked clothes. He rested his head back down turning his head sideways to look off in the distance, seeing a mouse scurry across the forest floor. Hmm... least there is food here. "Even staying here is an option. I assume you have your own place back in town?"

"People? I'm more concerned about the guy sitting beside me than others." The girl laughed as she sat beside him, soon being consumed in a light as she changed back to her fox form to dry. She sat with her tail around her paws and her ears perked and swivled to the mouse that he saw, hearing it scurry away. She stood suddenly and shook off, playfully getting him wetter with it before sitting back down. "Hmm... Yeah, I have a place in town, it's a small appartment, but you're welcome to use the couch I suppose. I don't feel right about leaving you here alone..." She pondered other ideas and hummed in thought, her tail tip flicking about.

"True... I am the only one here."He laughed softly and looked away from her as the light consumed her, watching her curl up as a fox. His gaze was still on the mouse when she started to shake off, closing his eyes until she was done, huffing playfully. He shook his head, amused as he watched her, shrugging some to her suggestion. "Sure, maybe I could, but if we are going to do something it should be fast, its getting dark." He looked up towards the trees, the light faiding between the leaves and the area around them was darker then they had first arrived. His hand moved and playfully batted her tail as she stood, making it swing, laughing some as he looked to her, hoping she wouldnt be mad with him. Getting up after to grab his things, pulling his shirt down over his head and putting his blades on his belt, grabbing the rest of his things as well.

The vixen blinked and looked to the man as he played with her tail, chuckling a bit to him. She looked to the sky and noticed the darkening sky, realizing they had been out for a long while. Not that the dark was an issue for her. She watched as the man collected his things and she began padding over to the entrance they used to get in, her sensitive nose confirming that nothing but a shrew had been through it. She stood and waited for him, figuring she'd be gicing the bird a ride again. I wonder what tonight will be like if he's staying... I hope I don't regret it. Maybe I shouldn't get too close to him, he probably won't stay for long, and I couldn't explore with him, I can't fly...

He smiled as she just laughed, slowly collecting his things and reclothing himself. Once his shoes and shirt were back on her looked around for the girl, not seeing her however, heading to the entrance of the cave. He had a bit of a difficulty finding the entrance again, not knowing the area at all, eventually seeing the fox waiting for him. "Smell anything?" He asked playfully as he saw her sniffing at the cave, getting close to the entrance before transforming into his hawk form. The birds wings stretched a bit and he preened himself briefly, rearranging the feathers that stuck out so they were back in place. Once he had finished he moved over to the fox and hopped up onto her back where he was before, gripping her back lightly as she stood there, chuckling playfully before he spoke. "Onward my short steed!" He pointed his wing forward as if calling a charge, smiling widely as he looked into the cave, seeing nothing of interest in it however.

The vixen waited until he was seated on her back before looking into the cave, catching the currents flowing through it. Her nose twitched a bit before she sneezed softly, blinking with a laugh. "Nope, it's all clear. Just remember to watch out on the other side, just in case. Could be hunters around." She went to go before stopping to his comment, laughing and playfully shaking her fur defiantly. "Hey, I could drop you off half way and let you suffer, be nice!" She teased, letting her legs move under her to bring them racing through the tunnel. Her tail waved out like a banner behind her, auds pinned back against her head. Once they'd reached the exit she stopped, still inside the cave, sniffing around, and making sure no one was outside before stepping out. "Coast seems to be clear."

"Bless you." He said softly as she sneezed, waiting for her to start moving. He laughed softly and fluttered his wings and held her tight with his talons as she shook him, staying on before she started to take off. "Your right you could, I think it just had to be said though!" He ducked low like before, keeping streamlined so she could run faster with him on her back, the cave seem to blaze by them and soon they were at the entrance. He nodded to her and hopped of her back, slowly walking out into the open, head swiveling to see all around him. "I don't see anything." He called out softly, moving near one of the bushes that hid the entrance of the cave to wait for his fox friend, scratching at the ground some before hearing his tummy rumble a bit. He started to look around as he stood there, searching for a possible meal but he couldn't see any from where he was. hmmm, maybe I will see something on the way to her place... "So... where do you live anyway?"
